Our Kennels

While we normally have a wide choice of dogs at our kennels, if you are looking for a specific breed it is best to ring in advance to check if we have any before setting out.

Opening Times: Non-appointment viewings 10.00am – 10.30am, 12.00 noon – 12.30pm and 2.45pm – 3.45pm, 365 days a year except on Christmas Day and Boxing Day when the kennels are closed in the afternoon,

Viewing at other times by prior arrangement with the kennel manager Steve Woodward on 07925 585358.

PLEASE NOTE:  Children under 6 years old cannot be present during a viewing of our dogs.

Please DO NOT EXPECT UNARRANGED ACCESS outside the above hours as the kennels staff are fully committed across the rest of the day to looking after the needs and welfare of the dogs.

Located on the A520 Leek Road at Cellarhead, near Stoke-on-Trent, (see map right), Animal Lifeline’s Serendipity Kennels were built in 2001 following a significant bequest to the charity from Douglas Hodges.  The kennels – which house up to 100 dogs – are adjacent to the live-in manager’s house and open out in to large fenced paddocks where the dogs can walk and run-free for exercise and fresh air.
