**MAGGIE – OUR DOG IN THE NEWS: Thanks for your messages and your concern for Maggie, which is appreciated. We are being indunated with calls for her and now have a number of local people interested in giving her a home, so it appears certain that after carrying out home checks, we will be able to re-home her in our own area where we are nearby if any problems arise.

We had tried to advertise and re-home her several times before, but no one has taken her. (She is difficult with other dogs). Now thankfully we have lots of calls about her and we are sure we will find the right home for her very soon. Thanks again for your interest, you are all very kind. Don’t forget that Maggie is not the only rescue dog pining for a new ‘forever home’! Why not come and see all the others at our Open Day this coming Sunday (6 Sep)**

WELCOME!  Animal Lifeline is voluntary group and a registered charity founded almost 40 years ago. Its aim is to rescue and re-home dogs of all ages, and care for them until we can find a new ‘forever home’. We do not have any dogs put down and always have at least 100 dogs in our kennels.

We are self-funding,  relying on the efforts of local dog lovers and others willing to help both with donations, and by volunteering.  If you would like to help us in any way simply go to the Help Us page.

Normally we do not re-home dogs outside North Staffordshire and South Cheshire as, like all responsible dog rescues, we need to carry out a home visit.
